Anyway, I need to thank DP for this thread and I have decided to take his advice and re-sign as a mod for a few more months at least.

I really appreciate the support I've had over the last few weeks, particularly with 52%+ of the new threads being about the referendum/foreigners/immigration and those that haven't been about that have quickly been turned into it by many currently baying for my blood.

If you feel I have moderated poorly, please let me know exactly what I have done wrong and where, that way I can learn from it.
If you feel that I am not forceful enough as a mod, by not banning/deleting where it should have happened, again, let me know.

I've already told you what you did wrong.
You did basically 0 moderation. Using mod tools isn't moderation. Instead of trying to moderate you seem to feel that NAT has the right idea.
Take your pick - be a moderator, or be a normal poster who is free to troll, insult, inflame and act like a complete prick. You can't have both.

It is obvious that the "W" stands for Whining, the "T" stands for Tedious, and the "H" is for Halfwit.

I've not banned anyone apart from a spammer who was trying to sell us foreign holiday homes.
I have moved 2 thread to general in the last month, but in terms of deleting posts or handing out infractions, I have done very little.
If people want me to stop moderating, then feel free to contact admin and request it, particularly if you feel I am abusing my powers by thinking before I post.

I am on holiday. Have just started to read posts and this thread, and have no context.

With that in mind, you do come across as a thin skinned, billy bandwagon type of moderator, alike the style of NAT, but withou the dry wit or cuckoo clocks on the wall.

Complete bias and a heavy hand is required to be a decent moderator on this forum, something I had in spades when I was in a moderator. You just don't have it to cut the mustard.
