      Good morning fellow Brexiters.

Looks like early 2017 according to this.

And it seems only a very small minority want a second referendum.

And the Australian's want a trade deal, now.

This one says member EU nations can ratify the agreement with Canada individually. I thought it was meant to be all or nothing but it seems the rules can change as required.

Tusk puts his foot in his mouth again. Who needs Boris?!

You didn't even bother to read the headline on that one did you?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

The fact that all countries have to ratify the trade deal with Canada means it could take years.

What that doesn't mean is that when a country has ratified then Canada can trade with that country. What it means is that all countries have to ratify the trade deal before Canada can trade with any country in the EU.

Philip Hammond was probably right when he said it could take 6 years for the UK to get a deal with the EU.

          I'm alright Jack

Australia and NZ have wanted free trade deals with Europe for decades, they want to be free to send as much lamb, butter, wine and wheat as they can. Europe's (rightly) refused up to now, to protect local farmers and wine producers.

Britain's in a precarious negotiating position - they want and need trade deals, but also need to protect local industry and farming from being undercut.

Australia might want a trade deal "now", but that doesn't mean that one will be forthcoming any time soon.

What? They need to sign off individually rather than as a whole. Did you read the article?

For the Remainers. Vote Owen Smith and get another go, just to be sure.

The clue is in the word "all".

He means that although they need to sign off individually, the agreement isn't in force until all of them sign.

Basically, it confirms what everyone has told you previously, that the UK will not be able to do deals with each of the EU countries separately.

But 'individually' rather than just the EU Commission. After pressure from Germany and France which goes back to my point about the big boys getting their way when they want.

Anyway, do you not have any comment on the ComRes poll for the socialist worker papers? Overwhelmingly no support for a second referendum. Although it seems that if you vote for Owen Smith you will get one. Apparently we were right to trust the people the first time around but we need them to be sure so have a second go.
