Spain has the fastest growth rate in the EU of about 3%.
Hasn't been taken over by left wing idiots like Greece you see, so the medicine is working.

Brillliant. I guess that will help Spanish youth unemployment of 43.9%:

Well yes it will given time.
After all everyone in the West has just gone through the hardest economic downturn since the thirties.
UK youth unemployment seems to have grown in the recession and is nothing to write home about either.

All I can say is check out Greenland who also didn't leave, not really.

They have one trading partner and a single source of public funds, Denmark

The US and Canada are on their door step and they export absolutely nothing after 30 years outside the European Union (well officially), and if they'd stayed they may well have kept their rather lucrative seal skin trade, which is now almost non-existent.

I'll post my link again as I think you'll find that youth unemployment compares very favourably with most EU member states:

And, as I stated, the southern part of the EU is in a right mess. Go on admit it, I'm right on this point.

How does the southern part of the EU compare with non-EU southern European countries?

And isn't the point that the EU is great? Are you saying that in-or-out makes no difference?

                      Albania GDP per capita $11000
                      Greece GDP per capita $21000

I bet the Greeks look upon the Albanians with envy.
