Newfangled group. I remember when you could read all of it at lunchtime (by which I mean everything new).

And when JavaScript was called livescript before the marketing department got hold of it.. Oh and when your had to write web pages in c before the cgi-bin wrapper appeared.

No chance of ever getting convicted of downloading something via torrent. Its just impossible to prove.

Doesnt stop the chancers doing the old speculative invoicing malarky. No need to take anyone to court when they know a certain % will cough up anyway.

As I've said before, letter lands of mat, you've been caught downloading p@rn. Pay up £400 or we'll take you to court etc. How many fellas would stump up to avoid the mrs finding out?

BTW - I don't use torrents. Used to years ago but realised that:-

        1. Most of the stuff is full of viruses so you end up spending ages sorting your PC.
        2. Watching films with someone head bobbing up and down is pointless.
        3. CDs are so cheap now that its just a waste of time.

I know you live in wales, but, sometime in the next few years, you'll see a new format appearing called 'DVD' which you can use to watch films in your house !!! The downside is, your local Blockbuster video shop will probably close.

Is this one of FLCs fantasies, or MMM's far east realities?

No point downloading p0rn movies - if you can't get yourself off within a 5 minute clip from thehun then you need to rethink your life.

Use encrypted peers only or a seedbox. In any case having a copy of said material isn't an offence AIUI, only actually viewing/reading/using it is.

I remember back in the day we suspected someone had hacked into the (Nuclear Power) Station Managers email. Coppers said until we saw him actually do it and read it there was no proof. That's what we did, hid near his desk and watched him and let the coppers nab him. Mid-90's though....

                Demonoid is still up BTW.

I've been trying to torrent something recently ( a short lived US TV series that is impossible to get legitimately ). After leaving it going for a week I eventually got a few of the episodes, but some have stuck permanently at 0% and more annoyingly there's a couple that have partially downloaded. And this has largely been my experience of Torrents; ridiculously slow and painful.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Obviously, no worries in my case as the Mrs rejoices, in the fact, that she will be left alone.

Try a seedbox, they are better connected and if you get one with a gigabyte connection some things download in like 2 secs literally. Obvs. you have to then download off the seedbox but at least you got it!
