Benched

Well last day yesterday and so now benched.

Saw my offboarding email come through last night with all of the instuctions to turn off my access, email etc.

Just logged in, to see I still have all my access. Got to love IT incompetence.

So bags packed, heading off to the airport & off to the US for 3.5 weeks with the family, then back for another week with family, then out again for a week at a holiday park in the Somerset. Just need to book somewhere for the last week of the summer holidays. First full summer off since I quit my first perm job & then went contracting at the end of 1997.

Suppose I'd better think of getting off the bench sometime in October
