    I see this a lot.

Ever considered 1951 - 1981 was an anomaly?

In fairness, the quote facility automatically strips quotes, although that was no doubt a welcome side effect here.

And yes, there are other less flattering words to describe people who willfully and obstinately ignore cast iron evidence!

        Potentially created by WW2?

          Back on topic

How dare people attempt to derail my thread onto the dreary topic of AGW.

[…] the scandal raises an obvious question about the straight-shooting honesty of Mr Trump’s campaign that is one of his main boasts. Plainly, Mrs Trump was trying to reinforce just that impression by claiming, falsely, to have written the speech herself. She now looks a phony, which makes Mr Trump look like a phony, too.
He would now seem to have two ways of dealing with the fallout. He could admit the error and fire the errant speechwriter. Or Mr Trump, who almost never admits to possessing any weakness, may choose to ignore the blunder and simply blame the media for making an unnecessary fuss. His spokesman, in a statement released shortly after the foul-up was noticed, suggested Mr Trump preferred the second path.

Nonetheless, it has been a staggering run for the planet of late. "This was also the 14th consecutive month the monthly global temperature record has been broken -- the longest such streak in NOAA's 137 years of recordkeeping," NOAA reported. Both NOAA and NASA have rated every month this year so far as a record-breaker.

Doesn't that give you climate change sceptics pause for thought?

Nothing to do with the (predicted) worst El Nino on record then?

Seems that El Nina will be in place soon so things should start to cool down abit. Acording to NOAA any way
