FWIW I've never voted Labour ever.
Okay, I'll nibble while I eat my sarnies. I would suggest that taking such a figure in isolation is fairly meaning less. Come back in six months if unemployment sky rockets. Your link is no different to:

Bank shares plunge on Brexit vote - BBC 24th June 2016

Yet here we are today with the FTSE100 at 6,527 - nicely above its close of 6338 the 22nd June. The FTSE 250 is at 16,067 which is still above nearly anything pre-2015.

You wouldn't be finding any doom-and-gloom story and jumping on it would you now? Surely you've better stuff to be getting on with on a Friday? Perhaps planning your own escape from these soggy little isles?

Banking shares are still down 25%. The FTSE is up because there are a hold load of International companies in it that are not British at all. These companies have gone up simply because the pound crashed by 20% against the dollar.

The FTSE 250 looks dire, inward investment looks dire, the pound looks dire and consumer confidence has taken a massive hit.
        I'm alright Jack

          Dax 10257 9554 ( -6.85% )
          Cac 40 4465 4167 ( -6.65% )

And in which case it makes any dollar earning FTSE100s a bit of a steal. Fill ya boots!

Scotland needs to become it's own country, with The Republic of Greater London as it's new financial center, together they can secede from the United Kingdom, and remain within the EU.

Then all that will be left is an island populated by the inbred, village idiots who voted Brexit. The rest of us can all sit back comfortably, and see how long they survive without us ....

Already have. Definitely money to be made out of the UK - but probably it's not going to be so much fun to live there.

                    CW's problem is this :

He cannot stand being "wrong". So he cannot reconcile himself with the fact that 17 million people in the UK made a different choice to him.

                    He has two coping strategies:
The first is to wade through every story and highlight every piece of bad news, imagined or real.
The second is to hurl insults at everyone who voted the other way.

Rather than considering that the opinions of 17M people might have some validity and that they may well have felt that the EU was remote, aloof, undemocratic and not working for them he'd rather assume that they are either stupid or racist. Because to accept that they may have a valid point of view is to accept that he is not always right.

It's easier to insult those who disagree with you rather than consider their position and circumstances.

Of course there is going to be a lot of bad news. This is not a surprise. The country is effectively leaderless until 9th September and we're in the middle of the biggest upheaval in European politics since the Germans stomped into Poland.

This could be the breaking of the UK. But equally it could be the re-making of it. It's going to take several years to find out which way it's going to go.

Indeed - i find a lot of these people are so used to hearing the answer they want to hear and when they do not they have a tantrum and mummy and daddy will come and change the answer because he is their precious little soldier.

He simply cannot see past the huge chunk of entitlement he has to understand that just because he does not like the answer it does not mean it is wrong.

It's all a question of upbringing really - I blame the parents!
