ao.com do. I will agree a lot of the others dont. I checked first. This was why I chose AO.com because I wasn't going to be there and I wanted it all sorted hassle free.

But thats my point - they offer a service and if you pay for it I expect them to do their best. Not bail and say tell you what you can have your £30 back. I dont want my £30 I want it installed like I paid for.

If there were two and it wasn't an early in the day delivery, they may have decided it wasn't worth it for the extra few pence they were getting.

The guy who installed my washing machine explained they don't get to deliver all the American Fridge Freezers first so they are supposed to move them when they are knackered. The last delivery they were scheduled for that day was am American fridge freezer hence his moaning.

I suggest your Missus goes and finds some large builder/tradesmen-like neighbours and gets them to move it in place, in exchange for a 4 pack each.

Fair play to parcelforce then. I think thats the problem in this country - a lot of people have jobs where they do the bare minimum.

I think delivery drivers are particularly bad. Couple of times when I was on the bench, I'd be sitting in the living room, here something rattling the letterbox then go out to see a delivery driver pegging it back to the truck and zooming off. Guess it makes deliveries quicker...

Lazy arse delivery driver turns up, cant be bothered, makes a mess, leaves it in middle of kitchen (its a big heavy american style one). Their answer - we'll refund the extras you paid.!

yeah exactly same thing with me over a DW. Paid for installation but he made excuses as soon as they arrived. The driver was blatantly on a clock. Got the £20 connection fee refunded after complaining.

It is to do with you because they refused to install your American Fridge Freezer.

If more people made public comments/complaints about them refusing to install them as the delivery staff claimed to be tired (or whatever) at the end of the day, then they would actually either do the service by altering their routes or stop offering something their staff refuse to do.
