As China's economy (unbelievably!) is rapidly heading for the rocks, before long they'll need every trade deal they can get to bolster their exports.

Their spokesmen won't be laughing so much then.

Look at exchange rates - UK is no longer 5th largest economy:

      The World's Top 10 Economies | Investopedia

      5. United Kingdom: The United Kingdom, with a $2.99 trillion GDP

      6. France: France, the most visited country in the world, is the sixth largest economy with a nominal GDP of $2.83 trillion. I

      7. Brazil: Brazil with its $2.24 trillion economy

      8. Italy: Italy’s $2.13 trillion economy is the world’s eighth largest in terms of nominal GDP

We'd be lucky to be in top 10 by 2020.

If China can't sell to UK then shops will look like late USSR here.

It may have varied a little with exchange rates but that has been its place for a long time.

You could of course go to number 9.

China Daily reports an estimate doing the rounds is that it will require 500 British negotiators and 10 years before any such deal could materialize, suggesting that the economic case for a Leave vote was never as strong as its advocates had claimed

France is 5 now because GBP dropped so much to USD and we might see recession plus parity with USD by 2020 - so UK will be <2 trln.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
