To cut out the 'bad EU immigration' it would be far easier to just cut the in work and out of work benefits.
The points system for Lichtenstein only applies to non-EEA citizens. The Swiss need no permits at all, everyone else gets their employer to register them as a cross boarder commuter and they are good to go.

Permanent residency permits are highly restricted and they only issue 56 a year. half by lottery half allocated by the government. It's really not a comparable situation.

What I did like about the e-Residency system for business registered wit it is that you only pay CT on distributed profits (i.e. dividends) otherwise the CT rate for retained profits is 0%.

What? Customs and currency union with Switzerland?

Yes, which is another reason they're likely to insist on Free Movement.

Chile has a free trade agreement with the EU, I don't recall having freedom of movement there. Dozens of places around the world have the same status.

This is just the opening stages of negotiation, folk setting out their stalls with stuff they know they won't get. The bottom line is it will hurt Germany more than us to cut us off.

          Better tell the Germans that.

But in the meantime, Senator Yzer is making her pitch directly to young Britons.
"Young people who voted In are welcome in Berlin," she says, staring out of the window of her office, just a few steps away from the square in which John F Kennedy gave his iconic "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech.

Do the EU s know about that?

Boris is now saying there will be no free movement.

Looks like we will be buying less BMWs when the tariffs come in.

That's good innit? Fewer BMWs = Fewer twats on the road.
