Isn't it time to acknowledge the referendum has been a complete catastrophe?

Pity the poor buggers who end up unemployed as a result.

So he's making an excellent statement about limiting the country's place in the world.
Excellent, that's what the people voted for.
It might even be a good idea if we can say no to being cannon fodder in America's wars.

If these "first steps" don't include invoking Article 50, then he's a quavering ditherer and a lying hound!

            Too many people believed them.
            Time to stop that.
Time to deal with the new reality and stop looking backwards.

Time for someone to step forward and lead.

The world changed suddenly on Friday.

There's no reason for it not to turn out well. Its all political and therefore all resolvable.

Moving to the anger stage. That's really good, OH.

It'll turn out well enough for those on the gravy train of all expenses paid contract negotiation junkets.
Not so well for the rest of us I suspect.
And worst of all for the demographic that most voted for it.

Course he's not going to do it. That's Boris's job. Or Gove's.

Maybe have a think about whether there might be one or two reasons. And perhaps whether some of "it" is economic rather than than political. Other than that, well done on keeping a positive attitude - it will serve you well in the dark times.

The implication of that is that not one Tory Brexit campaigner expected, or presumably even wanted, Brexit to win.

Nor did a single Tory Brexit campaigner with leadership potential anticipate that if by some chance Brexit did win then Cameron would not pass the buck.

I find all that rather hard to believe
