Every interview of a leave voter so far is clearly indicating it was a two fingers to the establishment. They never cared for facts in the first place.

Correct. The English working class have been vilified and marginalised for too long. A liberal, left wing media, London-centric Elite has sneered down their noses at them for decades. Producing poverty-porn programmes showing everyone how stupid they are.

Labour, the supposed party of the working man, completely failed them.

They've been portrayed as racists, no hoppers who don't understand what's good for them. They should have welcomed unlimited migration into their lives. Regardless of the fact that it drove down their wages, limited their life chances and changed their communities beyond recognition. At least the left-wing Intelligentsia could enjoy cheap asparagus picked by imported labour.

Well guess what? Somebody gave them the chance to kick the establishment. And they took that chance and they kicked them hard in the bollocks.

These people don't own shares. They don't have savings or Buy-To-Lets, they don't have the opportunities to work in Europe. They don't work in Banks or Internet Start Ups. They don't buy BMW's or have holiday homes in Spain.

But they do have a democratic voice and today they've shouted out their displeasure.

And what they have got today is their dignity back.

I voted REMAIN. I think it is in the best long-term interests of the country to be in a reformed EU but I understand why large sections of society rejected that view.

So you can continue to sneer and insult the leavers but you'll continue to be surprised when they bite you.

Today Europe changed.

At least it didn't require a war this time.

At long last this point has been made. Very well said. In England and Wales the working class have no representation. In Scotland they have the SNP. Labour has been taken over by the liberal left who purport to represent the working classes when actually they loathe them. To them being a labour supporter is about gestures and "virtue signalling".

These traditional labour voters do not vote Tory ever. UKIP has been the only vehicle for their views to be represented. The middle class see the migrants through the prism of how hard they work and how polite they are. The working class see them competing for housing, for schools, for health and for jobs and wages. The EU migrants they are competing with are often intelligent so they take jobs in Starbucks. These workers have degrees so the type of British worker who would normally work in Starbucks has to drop down to do cleaning or other manual labour.

Our working classes are under threat - most are not racist because it is they not the rest of us that have had to integrate with migrants not us. We just use them.

The EU migrants they are competing with are often intelligent so they take jobs in Starbucks. These workers have degrees so the type of British worker who would normally work in Starbucks has to drop down to do cleaning or other manual labour.

So, now that intelligent foreign workers who took jobs at Starbucks (the company that dodged UK taxes for many years) will fook off elsewhere and Great British workers will take their place, which is awesome result, but the question I have - who will be doing the cleaning and other manual work - old Etonians? That would be tidy.

Even the Tory Brexiteers are equivocal about the business of actually invoking Article 50, for the simple reason that they were only seeking power for themselves. The referendum campaign was just a convenient way of getting rid of Cameron sooner rather than later, with Boris as the beneficiary.

Give it twelve months and, with Cameron a distant memory and some fabricated reason why circumstances have changed, there'll be another referendum. There'll be no credible campaign in favour of Brexit, as Farage has now been exposed as a liar who's so crooked he could hide behind a spiral staircase, and it'll be a comfortable win for Remain.

Or Boris may just not bother having another vote, if whatever he engineers is sufficiently bad that he can "legitimately" put off doing anything about the EU for the foreseeable future.

As the man said: "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?"
