If the results are that close can anyone actually say 'remain' won? I'd say they have a nightmare on their hands. Nothing good can come from figures like that surely?

The Newcastle area is where people traditionally don't bother to vote which is one of the reasons in GE they are among the first to declare. So nothing can be predicted from it.

However Scotland has a lower voter turnout than expected.

UKIP make massive gains due to people having a problem with immigration, we nearly leave Europe based strongly on peoples problem with immigration. You'd think the smart politician would actually take that in to account and start taking it seriously. But I doubt it.

If I thought a close Remain vote would shake the EU into real change then that would do me. But I don't.
