Much closer than forecast. Either a rogue result or the polls were wrong.
UKIP make massive gains due to people having a problem with immigration, we nearly leave Europe based strongly on peoples problem with immigration. You'd think the smart politician would actually take that in to account and start taking it seriously. But I doubt it.

As I said earlier, I don't know anyone who voted 'remain' (I mean people I see on a daily basis) but most of these people are also SNP voters, so the SNP supposition that their supporters are pro-eu are well wide of the mark.
37% of nationalists were leave I heard in one poll.
A bloke on Radio 4 made the same argument about this being to important to be left to the uneducated Everyman and got heckled. He oddly went on to make the best argument for it than either the leave or remain have managed to make for their campaigns since it started. Was pretty cool.
