For those trading the Brexit polls:

Poll schedules are a bit sketchy but there is talk that two polls may be released today. An online poll from YouGov may be released at an unknown time (after the London close) and a phone poll from ORB is also due and is rumored at 2100 GMT (5 pm ET).

The latest YouGov poll on June 17 put the remain lead at 44-43% with 13% undecided. The most recent ORB poll was way back on June 9 whenthey found the lead side was up 53% to 47% among decided voters.

On Tuesday, a poll from ComRes is due while polls from YouGov, TNS and Opinium may all be released the day before the vote.

Good point. However, we don't have to decide the Lords' future in Thursday. Also, being a second chamber the HoL does not have the EU Commission's executive or decision making powers.

Can't win.

How many times already has this Tory government passed on laws to the HoL without public consent? I get it, we can vote them out. But there's been little difference between the two top parties over the years. Law after law diluting our privacy, for example, in the name of terrorism. The EU does far more to protect our privacy. If this is the direction UK government is taking I'll take what the EU has to offer any day.

FGM has existed since before we had a British Empire. It was banned in the UK in 1985. For something to be banned here there would have been cases in the UK and a campaign years before that to get it banned, so the campaign would have happened when these old people were middle aged or even young.

It only gained publicity more recently due to campaigners getting it in the public eye simply because British officials did SFA to enforce the law.

And yes some old people are scared of immigrants.

I'll file that under conjecture and my point was just one example. Are you trying to tell me that we are all the same in a one World love kind of way? At least 'fess up to living somewhere nice and having the means to keep safely out the way.

Before we get too excited about currency fluctuations, let's remind ourselves the the speculators responsible:


- failed to make anyone's pensions work
- failed to predict in 2008 the largest recession since 1929
- thought it would be peachy to abort Sterling, shortly before the Euro hit a cliff face so hard it almost sucked Europe into the Earth's core.
- will buy or sell depending on how the dog barks or if the geese fly over in Summer.

Okay I might be generalizing a bit.

Bloody 'ell, that's brave. I suppose, as a day trade, it makes sense. I think it was overdone today. The rumours are that the ORB and/or YouGov polls tonight are showing a swing back to Remain, although similar speculation before the last ICM poll was completely wrong (professional traders are clever buggers).
