Better than being run by unelected socialist foreignors who are desperately pulling us down to their level.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostYou complain about the lack of plan yet you're willing to gamble your whole future on it?

No one that got on a boat or a plane in world war 2 thought that it was a good idea for them personally. But they knew that if they didn't the future would be worse for the children. That was called the ultimate sacrifice of a generation.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostYou complain about the lack of plan yet you're willing to gamble your whole future on it?
We are nowhere near as brave as that now but once again the pragmatic among us can see that the project of the EU is a failing mess and that tough choices need to be made once more.
So if you are asking if I am ready to make myself destitute so that the country can be great once more tomorrow then hand me the sack cloth.Comment

Clearly employers are terrified of the thought of Brexit, as the CBI, IoD, BCC etc have reminded us throughout the campaign...

Abso-bloody-exactly - And my Childrens future.
I don't want them looking into my eyes, 10 or 20 years from now as some batch of unrepealable laws is passed down from Brussels by an unelected bunch of twunts, saying "Daddy - Why the actual f***, did you vote for this tulip storm of imbiceles to govern our once great country?"
It's not my job to have a plan, it our elected government and their Civil Servants to enact our wishes.
This 'democracy' idea could catch on.

In a weird way that's the most honest thing said so far. Brexiters are throwing their toys out the pram at the suggestion that the country may be a little worse off in the short term. If you admit that it's a financial risk, even if it's worth it in the long term, then you must surely also admit that this isn't a "threat" from Osbourne but simply the kind of responsible management of the economy that The Chancellor is obliged to perform. I'm not a fan of Osbourne but you're deluded if you think anything other than what he's saying will happen or that any other Chancellor of any party could possibly do anything different.
And if that's the case then why are the Leave campaign simply honest about it? Change their slogan to "make yourself destitute now; the country will be great tomorrow!".Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
