Generally no, they are more interested in your skills and experience.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

I list my degrees, but leave the school stuff off. The bigger section is the professional memberships, societies, additional qualifications etc.Comment

I make sure that my quals are up-to-date and on-trend.
I don't bother with my education."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

I don't put anything else about education on my CV bar the degree which is the last line on the last page. I'll be willing to bet most clients would notice it if you didn't put anything on but if they did back to the question of how pragmatic they would be.
I guess the sifting by agents is your real problem though.
I have done plenty of roles advertised with it as a prerequisite, but in practice no one has cared, one iota. The Chunt of Chunts.Comment

Leaving it out seems to suggest you have something to hide.
I think that if someone takes a dim view of an applicant because of their lack of academic success, regardless of their life and work experience, there's probably little you can do.His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

Because the GCSE was introduced in 1988, I now know that the youngest you can be is 15 + (2016-1988) = 43Comment
