    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ska

Ska is a form of Jamaican music combining elements of traditional mento and calypso with an American jazz and rhythm and blues sound. It is notable for its shuffling, scratchlike tempo and jazz-like horn riffs on the offbeat.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

We are not talking about few hundred quid differnce here, ie: £199 vs £999, the difference will certainly be in tens of thousands which is not to be sniffed at.
That really shows how much you know about corporate businesses my old pal

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

I'll take my chances friend - if necessary I can give away product for free and charge for custom development and consulting, I am pretty confident I can earn enough to break even. I actually broke even this year with plenty of cash for hardware purchases.

How much do you need to turn-over / profit before you break even?

Less than £20k. Six weeks contracting gave me almost as much, and I've got SKA derived licensing deal to be finished next week, waiting for the first payment to arrive into bank account, life is not bad eh?

Aim for the stars and you might hit the rooftops.

Aim for the rooftops and you'll probably end up in the gutter.

I aim for the stars. But it gives me confidence to know that in the worst case scenario I will still be fine because it would be pretty much impossible to be more cost competitive than me.

No. What I am saying is that in principle it is easier for me to break into established market because of my cost competitiveness. $50k for 1 mln document index search engine is a total rip off, I'd do it for $40k
