Nope this is bull. I turn down UK contracts because not only is the rate crap, the people I have to talk to about the projects are imbeciles (actually you only have to read the postings on here ) Maybe you don't get offered anything because, as has already been pointed, you're just not good enough
You can just smell the BS
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone
Brexit or Brexin, will have no impact on Indian onshoring/offshoring, which is where your next contract is heading anyway...Govt is handing out work permits like sweeties. LibLabCon s
I am sure this has been discussed before, but I cannot be arsed to search for this. So help me out here.
If we Brexit, will IT contractors be barred from entering the EU and contract? like we can do now.
It depends. If we join the EEA or EFTA or otherwise bilaterally agree to allow for the free movement of people and capital, then there would be no difference and you would still be able to work on EU contracts, like now.
If we instead go for the WTO option or no trade agreements at all, then UK contractors will not be able to entering the EU and contract without being on foreign payroll, obtain a work permit (usually sponsored visa like our Tier 2) and show that there is nobody available within the 450 million European Union to do the job. And if you switch contract you would then have to go through it all again.
Right now it appears that the Leave camp prefer the second option.
Can the EU pass laws banning us from doing that?
No new laws required. It is already in the existing ones.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with the EU or Brexit. It is an entirely homegrown issue.
3) And worst, you'll need to be qualified to a certain level of language proficiency to gain working rights for that country.
That is usually only required for permanent stay or citizenship. Although clients can always demand require local language skills in order to be able to communicate well with the rest of the team.
