I've not had a need to speak fluent German even with the German contracts I've been offered.

Perhaps you can offer fluent Klingon. Or did you just offer some of your better "lady services"...?

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Brexit or Brexin, will have no impact on Indian onshoring/offshoring, which is where your next contract is heading anyway...Govt is handing out work permits like sweeties. LibLabCon s

If we Brexit, will IT contractors be barred from entering the EU and contract? like we can do now.
It depends. If we join the EEA or EFTA or otherwise bilaterally agree to allow for the free movement of people and capital, then there would be no difference and you would still be able to work on EU contracts, like now.

If we instead go for the WTO option or no trade agreements at all, then UK contractors will not be able to entering the EU and contract without being on foreign payroll, obtain a work permit (usually sponsored visa like our Tier 2) and show that there is nobody available within the 450 million European Union to do the job. And if you switch contract you would then have to go through it all again.

Right now it appears that the Leave camp prefer the second option.

Can the EU pass laws banning us from doing that?
No new laws required. It is already in the existing ones.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with the EU or Brexit. It is an entirely homegrown issue.

We will be subject to EEA rules.

If you can get a job in a field with a skills shortage then you can get a visa and move abroad.
