Overweight IT Contractors' weight loss diary: month 1
I like this girl! (in a non-lessie way, of course...)
"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
- Voltaire/Benjamin Franklin/Anne Frank...
Dehydration is not the same as sustained weight loss!
Doh! I'm aware of that. But it does lead to sustained weight loss due to the calories being burnt up. I doubt there's another sport as efficient at that.
And if that diet isn't MADE for IT contractors, I dont know what is.
Dont listen to any of that bullsh*t about it not being healthy either...its more healthy than being overweight, as long as you eat some veg.
Steaks, fry-ups, massive plates of cheese.....hungry anyone?
(The only draw back is its quite difficult to do a poo)
Didn't help Atkins, didn't he trip over and kill himself in his 40's.....
The diet is a death sentance, you may not be overweight but you will radically increase your cholesterol and screw your heart up. I would rather be fat than having a heart bypass/pacemaker.
A common misconception is that being a little bit overweight is a killer, it is not you can be plump but healthy. As long as you are active you'll be fine, it is if you start getting out of breath by walking up the stairs you have to worry.
