As our masters & MEPs (excluding UKIP) seem strangely pro EU I doubt what we think will make a blind bit of difference.

This idea that the UK population's disenchantment with the lies & corruption that underpin the the EU would have any effect on the EU machine is laughable.

Despite your weasel words any vote I have cannot in rel terms prevent the election of an EU president.

Nope but you can continue to vote for liars and their weasel words: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...lect-committee
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Ah, Littlejohn, another who wants out of the EU, a man who lives for much of the year in Florida because he loves the UK so much. Possibly like his employer, Jonathan Harmsworth, although officially resides in the UK is actually domiciled in France. This may well be the connection on which he pins a continuing claim to the nebulous concept of foreign domicile and a consequent exemption from tax on income, including dividends from the Daily Mail and General Trust plc, that he keeps offshore. These are the people you're listening to...but then again, people are listening to Gove...

“The overwhelming majority of countries choose to govern themselves”
Which possibly explains why those countries are now in fact forming trading blocs to increase their global clout, the shining example of which is the one Gove wants Britain to leave. And remember when the British Empire was around and countries like Kenya, Rhodesia, USA and India were all controlled by the UK? How long did it take them to become global leaders once they removed the shackles?

So this is what the brexiteers want:

Britain will move outside the EU’s single market and instead join “Bosnia, Serbia, Albania and Ukraine” in a European free-trade zone if voters choose Brexit in June’s referendum, according to Michael Gove, one of the leading Conservative campaigners to leave the EU.
              A great league of countries

And I thought Project FEAR was FUD
They are voted "by proxy" thus greatly diminishing the power of democracy. Most of the heads of state of government and leading cabinet members will have one eye on a their next career move and the gravy train of the EU

We import more from the EU than the rest of the EU imports from us!
