there is some truth in that.

However do you believe EBTs or an Irish/Danish sandwich are morally right?

What's immoral about wanting to keep more of your earnings?

I don't live in a socialist commune and have no intention of ever doing so.

It seems they are allowed to be used by the rich but not by anyone else.

As Zeity pointed out, it is the duty of every taxpayer to arrange their affairs so they pay the least tax. Legally.

Another person didn't buy, worked his arse off for 20 years, tried to start a business that failed, got divorced and lost 1/2 of what he did have and now has pretty much feck all to show for it.

          It's almost a simple as:

High achievers bought property in the SE and didn't get divorced.
Low achievers didn't buy property in the SE and got divorced.
exactly all wealth is fake. Made up by our policy makers, excluded highly inflated property no one has feck all.

trouble is one million quid is feck all nowadays anyway .

Try earning a million quid after tax and living expenses, then tell me it is feck all.

try buying a decent house for 1 million in commuting distance from london and say that .

your statement only amplifies how stupid property is.

had i bought a property in 2008 for 260k i would be sitting on 800k for doing feck all .

There are too many people in this country who can't/won't get up early to go to work or make any sort of effort e.g. getting an education - because if you play the system, you can live off the state.
Got no sympathy for them whatsoever.
Oh yes. I remember when I was claiming JSA - one of the questions they ask you is how far will you travel for work, I replied 1.5/2 hours max.

The guy told me - some people will kick off big time if they get asked to attend an interview in the next town or its more than 15 mins bus ride away. They think its unreasonable to expect that.
