Only so many people can get warm around a single camp fire. Instead of investing everything in London all the time, the Gov should scatter the investment around. Like chucking hot embers into dry grass. More fires would start and we would have multiple centres, like other countries. Result: a south east which is actually livable, and prosperity across the UK.
