The government + HMRC + media like to talk a good game about "Freelancers", flexible workforces and the "gig economy" but when it comes down to it, they don't understand it and they don't like it.

And when they talk about small business, they don't mean us. Infact they only really talk about us when it comes to tax avoidance, disguised employment, and clampdowns.

We are the enemy of the state. Despised in everyway, except as taxable cash cows.
