IMO:

- Why is your dad doing it and not a professional accountant?

Nothing say's a professional has to do your accounts, Darren Upton was a professional remember!

- Why are your parents directors? What does your mother do for the company?

- How do stop your parents getting a disproportional amount of money when you take a dividend?

You set up the shares so parents have minority stakes and pay the same amount per share as per everyone else

- Why don't you pay them a salary commensurate with their tax free allowance instead of having them be directors?

Because they would have to justify a salary, anyone can be a share holder

- Do your parents just illegally transfer their dividends to you safe and tax free?

Why not, when I first started my LtdCo I couldn't get a business account due to personal poor credit, my father was brought on as a director and he opened the account.
