So I'd need to swear in the professional forums and at the same time say "Before you ban me, I must know - is Bee a sock puppet?" -
Are you calling the mods?Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostMods only appear when you don't want them to.
Try swearing in the professional forums or something.
Is a week ban worth the knowledge?

Sounds about right. Though I have never seen a mod reveal is someone is a sockie or not. Only admin has access to ip addresses anyway. And that is not conclusive. Sometimes people at same site share ip addresses. In one case someone started a new gig, went into CUK and found themselves logged in as someone else!Originally posted by seanraaron View PostSo I'd need to swear in the professional forums and at the same time say "Before you ban me, I must know - is Bee a sock puppet?"
A tricky one.
Maybe bribery will work? Try bunging admin a tenth of a DA and maybe that will work?Comment

The Candyman approach seems right. Still, this is too good a diversion to risk on what is likely not to be true, I mean Bee's tone and content seem too consistent to me - you'd have to be pretty bored to keep up that kind of charade.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostSounds about right. Then only time you will see a Mod identify a sockie as such is when they ban them.
Cojak usually saves a few up and does them all at once when they finally get on her nerves one time too many.
Admin will occasionally post to confirm that someone is *not* a sockie, but only under extenuating circumstances. Usually as a result of something posted in the professional forums."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment
