We're in a bit of a bubble of stability at the moment. Has to come to an end at some point. Can't wait for BIG DON to get into the White House. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist -
I believe that's what the good guys call collateral damage. We are being played.Originally posted by AtW View PostYeah, bombing hospitals with unguided bombs day after day without any remorse or investigationComment

Which is why I didn't expand my original sentence.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostThis is not the case. Turkey have their own agenda which doesn't include supporting ISIS (except where ISIS are killing Kurds)."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Not sure how anyone can see Russia as being one of the good guys in this conflict and in the light of other recent events of land-grab and occupationOriginally posted by ZARDOZ View PostRussia and China being made out to be the bad guys is all part of the plan for another war.Comment

They also want a Kurdish home land.Originally posted by saptastic View PostDepends - there are the Iraqi Kurds, Turkish Kurds and Syrian Kurds.
You couldnt make this up. Not even in a movie.
Then if one of them gets it and they all move to it, there will be civil war. Not helped by the fact they aren't all the same religion and same religious denomination when they are....."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Lenin coined a good phrase about people on the West that supported USSR (for whatever reason) - useful idiots.Originally posted by Eirikur View PostNot sure how anyone can see Russia as being one of the good guys in this conflict and in the light of other recent events of land-grab and occupation

Good guys in such cases:Originally posted by ZARDOZ View PostI believe that's what the good guys call collateral damage. We are being played.
1) use precision guided bombs to minimize collateral damage
2) accept responsibility for action rather than deny it (like Russia does - they blamed USA for the bombing on video)
3) investigate what and why happened, try to make sure it does not happen again
4) collateral damage isn't main thing that happens, ie it's rare rather than normComment
