As WTFH says 2 weeks wouldn't be enough to get over the journey and do anything useful. I did South Africa for a week and Brunei for a week and it took a few days to come back to normal afterwards. I was of course working stupid hour days...
if its is excluding expenses in the £17k then why not? New country and you could fly the family over for a decent holiday. Maybe make new contacts over there and widen your business.
If you do ok then you would probably get a nice WFH gig out of it for further stuff.Comment

Yes. If only that is my take home money after tax with expenses fully paid (First class flights, 7 star hotel stay, Hookers, coke etc).Originally posted by scooterscot View PostWould you up sticks and fly to Japan every other two weeks for a 6-month gig?
Slightly tempted but can't be bothered.

Yup that's take home. Don't use hookers. First class flights are lonely, I prefer company. Like this last time me and the German gal on a return flight from San Francisco got chatting. The armrest when up and the pants went... never mind.Originally posted by FatLazyContractor View PostYes. Apparently Japan Airlines are introducing new uniforms for their female cabin crew soon, based on the 'retro' look of Southwest Airlines in the 1970s ..Originally posted by scooterscot View PostWould you up sticks and fly to Japan every other two weeks for a 6-month gig?

My plan on the Japan trips is to get a couple of weekends skiing in Niseko paid for by the client while I'm there. That's one of the big draws for me.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
