So to sum up why there are few to no worthwhile UK tech companies: the government doesn't do enough to support domestic industry and people get paid too much?
Seems about right to me. Maybe devaluing the £ is part of a grand secret scheme to bring manufacturing back to Britain?Comment

Nope, UK Govt. should start backing those businesses when they want to enforce their (costly) Patents, in any Country that has signed said agreement.
