Most of the migrants coming in are trying to go to Sweden and Germany and they're coming in via Greece and Italy over the sea. They aren't reaching UK borders in any numbers you could quote that would be significant....

UK takes in 80'000 few refugees than it's "fair share". Switzerland takes in 16'000 more. I have to say, I've not noticed a massive impact here from the influx. Except you get to meet some interesting people. A Tibetan woman with excellent (self-taught) English. An Iranian pastor who'd had to flee Iran because extremists were after him... and then had to flee Turkey for the same reason.

The local university is working out how they can take in educated refugees, and put them through degree programs.

Dunno where your here is but it's pretty massive in the South East. My local town is now 21% foreign born. That does not include ethnic groups or children born to the foreign born of course. Walk round the mall and the sound of foreign languages and accents is almost constant.

Its over 50% foreign born in some London authorities. That has serious impact on housing, transport, infrastructure, schools and other public services.
