    I didn't comment on the person other than to sympathise with the unpleasant diagnosis, whilst he was a little challenging IMHO I think he definitely contributed to the equality conversation.

              He did make the show, and its great that being black and/or gay in a comedy wasn't overused as the butt of jokes.
