I don't know how you can be jealous of a corporate entity. People are jealous of those who can afford Apple because those people are wealthier then they are. People are jealous of those running Apple because they are mega-rich. I don't think people are jealous of Apple itself. Except those running genuine tech companies... AtW perhaps has grounds but I think he's quite happy with the success he's created.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

That makes sense. But then it's surely just all a matter of perspective? Whatever the money in your hand you'll always learn to spend it rather than save it."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

I'm certainly not.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostWhy are people so jealous of apple?
It does amuse me how people can get so attached / fanatical about a brand.
Usually, you hear the drone of how much better Apples are than PC's etc.
To me, they are just "tools of the trade".The Chunt of Chunts.Comment

Totally this. I've been labeled a brand whore just because I buy their products. A bit like I'm a BTL landlord when actually I just changed jobs and let my home. Nothing to do with investing whatsoever. I'm like a dog chasing cars, I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostI'm certainly not.

The truth is I use apple because it just so happens to have OS X, which is a million times more better than windows where workflow is concerned (without interruption). I've no question my productivity shot through the roof when I made the switch in the early naughties."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Macs are PCs. They dropped their own unsuccessful design, copied the one everybody else was using, put it in a prettier box and charged twice as much for it.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostUsually, you hear the drone of how much better Apples are than PC's etc.
I wish I'd thought of doing that. Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
