Also, I believe Camelot's call centre is open at weekends, so you can call them on Sunday to make an appointment, should the need arise
Any online wins are paid into my account, I'm assuming a jackpot will be the same!

Aren't Cashplus accounts limited to £5000?

No, I believe that it is only for < £x.

          Anyway, it'll be my account

What kind of contractor are you if you have an account limited to a measly £5k!

IIRC, over £50,000 you have to go through a special claims procedure, and over some higher amount you have to go there in person with proof of ID (though I think they can make arrangements to meet you elsewhere, but you get the money faster if you go to them). But I think they would eventually do a bank transfer rather than giving you a cheque, yes

Tangentially related: when my brother was on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, the show was recorded about a month before broadcast, and the cheque he received was indeed the one seen on TV - those weren't just props. But this meant that it was postdated, as it had the date of the broadcast on it so it could be shown to the camera during the show. So he ended up with a cheque for £250,000 bearing Chris Tarrant's signature which was just left on the side in his kitchen for a month, occasionally causing minor panic when it was lost before being found again under one of the kids' toys or some such

So you get £58,000,000 paid into your bank.
The bank goes bust and you get the FSCS compensation of £75,000

You need to ask for it in ten pound notes or possibly something valuable like original Star Wars toys still wrapped.

ms#4 just tried to buy a ticket online.

She has had to get dressed and head to the shop instead.
