That's the Kippers imagined EU. The actual real life EU is run by people chosen by democratically elected representatives of the people, both MEPs and heads of states. It's the same as the UK cabinet. None of us get to choose them either (they don't have to be MPs).

But on occasions they have done their job and held the House of Commons to account.

This is what will happen:

A minority will vote to leave, but because the people who want change are much more motivated to vote than those that just want to be left alone the out campaign will win. A great day for democracy.
