What's a NA team and what's "follow the sun"?
Support/team functions operate on local time. Idea is you have them at pertinent point on the globe (India, China, West Coast US, East Coast US, Uk/Europe)

24/7 operation with non of the benefits

      North America?

offices are open when the sun shines on the country so India starts, then UK then US etc.

Follow the sun has one benefit someone else answers the call outs and filters them so you don't have to get out of bed for a password reset.
