TDUDP was compulsive viewing in its early days. One of the most memorable bits was when Alf gets into a West Ham game pitchside because he's in a wheelchair only to jump up and down when they score!

You could be right. As for it being racist, WM himself said that his character was the butt of the jokes. On the other hand we have Citizen Khan on prime time BBC, a dose of the clap would be funnier
