Check my posts; I have only ever used the term 'offensive'. Though I do consider the term 'brown people' very close to racist and would never use it for fear of racially offending some one. And I think there are a good many people out there who feel the same about this.

There are many terms I find offensive, both sexually, nationally, as well as ethnically orientated.

If someone says to you, excuse me, I find that language offensive, do you mind refraining from using it. I'm not sure the best response is to tell them, you're wrong?
Fair points, I guess its all down to interpretation, sometimes lost on a forum.

One thing I will say, however, with all these types of things, its not what you say, but the way you say it, or the meaning attached to it.

Indeed. 80% of communications is non verbal, which is why posts and emails are such a fire pit. Always speak to the boss, never email ;-)

            And always have.

The West has to take responsibility in some way, unfortunately.

An important thing is to remember history, supporting rebels, depots, or dictators has never really worked out for us.

You tell us what SHOULD have been done not what should not have been done. as for your lifestyle it does not come without a price. You are intent like all the other cowardly hypocrites of tritely blaming your own people and your own culture for the ills of the world from the "entitled" position of privilege that you so enjoy.

What? What a twisted point of view. I blame the leaders of the western world, specifically the US for beginning a war on terror based on a disgusting false flag attack on its own citizens. Nothing needed to be done at all until that day. Nothing.

You frame your question as if there was a problem to start with. You have been trained well.

I am happy to lay blame of those who are responsible but I suggest very strongly if you wish to question my character and call me a coward you come and do it on my front doorstep. I am in no way hypocritical and have, for more than a decade, done what I can to make a difference. I am happy to be suitably enlightened to realise that killing more people will NEVER be the answer.

I think you should take a long hard look at yourself; happy to blame an entire religion/culture for problems you almost never see the realities of. These ills of the world you speak of - they're the western governments.

I thought some of your posts in this thread were quite thought provoking and intelligent. Then you post this!
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]
