You seriously think they won't have some made up rules around percentage income from each client ? Client A, £10,000 in 30 day period, Client B £50.00. You are clearly cheating

From our perspective, a day rate through ir35 is far better than a ftc. It is perfectly easy to have a day rate and pay within ir35 rules.

Some clients may try and take on more ftcs but they are usually for 1 or 2 years, not 3 months. And unless that is all that is on offer, they won't get the best people. A good contractor on £500 is better value than a consultancy on £1,200.

How could that work? Loads of genuine companies have 1 main client. What happens to them?

Poll results on that article are also interesting.

Would doing work on rent-a-coder type webtulipes at the same time be seen as multiple clients?

I would contact some small charities a do some work pro bono and do some work for them at the same time (evenings and weekends where required).

Skewed by a few hundred disgruntled contractors.
