An Object lesson on how to deal with your enemies

Unhindered by wailing liberals that will force him to look over his shoulder lest he be accused of war crimes Putin is doing what the West should have done leaving Obama and the USA looking toothless and useless.
No doubt the Russian people will be proud of Putin's decisiveness and not indulge themselves in bouts of lefty self loathing. Emboldened by their leaders decisiveness they can march on through the Ukraine and into Poland in the full knowledge that the snivellingly useless leaders of the EU wont lift a finger to stop them Putin 'to send 150,000 soldiers to Syria to WIPE OUT evil Islamic State' | World | News | Daily Express

And they have got all the middle east oil as their reward

I think the Russians said something similar when going into Afghanistan.

The West should leave them to it.

If the West really wants to help Syria it should encourage Saudi to take all their refugees until Saudi goes in and sorts Syria out....

Don't worry, once the Tories have either put all their election pledges or reneged on others, then you too will be living in a semi-dictatorship where such acts against not only your own people, but others can also take place. Enjoy your freedom while you can

Then again, the Russians quite like old Corbyn so maybe your best bet before the Russians decide to buy the rest of the UK would be to get him in charge, he might have a bit more influence with them

      You're ****ed either way
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I've always wondered if Russia still counts as left or if they are considered right now...

Sounds like the Daily Express is plumbing new depths of idiocy even by their standards.

That 150,000 is the count of reservists who are called up each year in Russia's equivalent of National Service, and is unrelated to the current goings on in Syria.

No doubt the Russians will leave most of the ground work to local forces such as Iranians and Hezbollah etc, not to mention Assad's army.

I thought this thread was about Camoron's allegation that St. Jeremy of Corbynshire said that OBL's death was a tragedy.

There's a massive media campaign and NATO blatherings happening in response to Russia's destruction of IS and all other terrorists in Syria...

Apparently this is a very bad thing and instead of all the "good guys" on our side joining in to wipe out ISIS (which we've apparently been doing for the last year) they're all getting terribly upset that Russia are doing it...

Can anyone provide a rational explanation as to why the destruction of ISIS is such a problem for our esteemed leaders?

So much so that NATO are sending troops to Turkey, we're sending troops to the Baltik and our waffling goons are attempting to rattle sabres as though they're at all relevant...

Surely the best course of action is to all join in together and wipe out the terrorists, bring peace and stability to the region then take it from there?

Anything else is just pushing a failing agenda and proving the "conspiracy theorists" right - shirley?
