I'm considering changing a car, and thinking to buy something fairly economical and stylish.
I was thinking about used bmw 5 or convertible audi a5

Audi A5 2.0 TDI S Line 2dr
or
BMW 5 SERIES 520D EFFICIENTDYNAMICS 4DR 2.0

Im fearing bmw wil be "too big" for daily commute (i had saab 9-5 a while ago ,and hated it every time i had to park it)
on the other hand always dreamed about convertible , but fearing it will be impractical in the winter.

I have no kids, just gf, so most of the times 1/2 seats will be taken...

Any input? What do you guys think?

I own a 320d [184] - so no efficient dynamics.

The thought of an ED 520d does not appeal. It would be weak on power.

Suggest you consider a 330d coupe;

mpg is absolutely dissatisfactory and 180 tax. Im after not loosing too much over longer period (2-3 years) in value of the car, petrol cost, tax etc
