Been to audi and BMW today. My opinion changed slightly and I'll probably go for bmw 3 in some sporty trim. M sport or something . Bmw 5 seems too big as I have no kids and rarely take passengers. I also liked bmw 3 gt but it's like 21k+

BMWs get people flocking around them by me. Normally to push them off the road in the Winter, rear wheel drive should be banned.Comment

I was thinking about used bmw 5 or convertible audi a5
Audi A5 2.0 TDI S Line 2dr
or
BMW 5 SERIES 520D EFFICIENTDYNAMICS 4DR 2.0
Im fearing bmw wil be "too big" for daily commute (i had saab 9-5 a while ago ,and hated it every time i had to park it)
on the other hand always dreamed about convertible , but fearing it will be impractical in the winter.
I have no kids, just gf, so most of the times 1/2 seats will be taken...
Any input? What do you guys think?
CBA reading through all the threads but I have a 320d M Sport that drives like a dream. Does 0-60 in about 7 seconds which is enough most of the time. I'd consider the 330d next time round though. the 520d is way too sluggish.
Audis are just not built for comfort like the rest of the VA group. Every VA group car I have driven hasn't been that comfortable (including A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8) A8 is the comfiest but I found it really dull.
If you are looking for comfort I'd go for the C class but if you are looking for fun, style and comfort (not as much comfort as the C class though) i'd go for the BMW 3 series or 530d/535d.Comment
