Nope. And of course you have to take into account that the reporting may be biased i.e. WHY were they doing that, what happened first?

If Cameron and Co made the benefits system a lot less attractive to these unskilled migrants it would solve that part of the problem almost overnight.
I thought this happened already; it was mentioned a lot pre-election that you wouldn't be able to claim benefits for up to 2(?) years. But that applies to legal EU migrants. Are you sure illegal migrants from outside the EU have ANY legal right to benefits unless they are treated as legitimate asylum seekers?

If you are not from the EU and a legal migrant you have no recourse to public funds for 5 years.

However if you are a genuine refugee you are entitled to benefits before and after you have leave to remain. However most of them want to work because they find themselves cut off from the rest of society.

Oh and the main reason people want to come here is that they can work illegally as care homes, cleaning companies, the hospitality industry and the construction industry happily will use illegal workers to keep costs down.

I should add I have met people working illegally and found some of them could have come here and worked legally. However they got advice from dodgy people....

None of those jobs are ones that we need to import workers for, and none of them are highly paid, meaning that the illegal ones are outside the tax system (yet still cost the rest of us by using public resources such as police, NHS, roads, and schools), while the legal ones don't meet the tax threshold anyway and so still cost us by using public resources PLUS will require child and housing benefits just to make ends meet.

Have you reported them to Police/Home office?

The ones doing care work were actually foreign nurses. If they hadn't talked to dodgy people they could have worked in the care homes legally and converted their qualifications so would have worked in the NHS. And yes they spoke and wrote English.

I don't report people I convince them to go home or go somewhere else in the world.

The ones I meet abroad I convince them stay or go somewhere else. It's not hard once you give them housing costs in London as they already know how much they could earn. Also gang master and modern slavery stories really help.....
