There were some random civilians next to those targeted civilian chaps from UK that got a present from a strike drone recently. -

Play the game and follow the rules or we will pan you.Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

There is a difference between civilians being killed while targeting genuine military targets - and the outright targeting of civilians.Originally posted by AtW View PostThere were some random civilians next to those targeted civilian chaps from UK that got a present from a strike drone recently.
Drone operators don't go to work saying "Right, let's see how many innocents we can kill today. The more the merrier. Most kills buys the beers later." Terrorists however, often revel is mass civilian casualties, often striving to achieve such.Comment

that is the problem with these terrorist chappies they tend to hide themselves amongst the civilians just like the Viet Cong. Until the local populace run away and leave the enemy behind and without their human shields there will be unfortunate casualties.Originally posted by centurian View PostThere is a difference between civilians being killed while targeting genuine military targets - and the outright targeting of civilians.

If you send a drone in you will get some collateral damage sad as it is. Also remember many of the civilians are aware and probably supporting (willingly or not) the Terrorist aims.
The alternative is boots on the ground and lots of western casualties. Personally I prefer the Drones.Comment

For sure.Originally posted by centurian View PostThere is a difference between civilians being killed while targeting genuine military targets - and the outright targeting of civilians.
Former alleged IRA Commanders now in power in NI, it's over now - they get hands shaken by Royalty now -

And British Army of the past wasn't exactly always targeting genuine military targets, and I am not even talking about Dresden here.
Corbyn is entitled to his views, in any case this IRA stuff is completely irrelevant now - peace process is working very well, and future PM will have a lot of issues with economy to deal with, far more important than Hamas, IRA, Hezbolla etc.
P.S. I'd be more concerned about Call Me Dave's fecked up school initiations as it was something he was actually (allegedly) DOING, not having some view of.Last edited by AtW; 23 September 2015, 21:03.Comment

He can even invite Corbyn to join in if he likes, if it keeps them too busy to decide on ways on carving us up for dinner.

If I lived in London I'd be more concerned about tube drivers being able to hold whole city to ransom.Comment

Corbyn's old enough to know better.

How hard is it to say the IRA did bad things?
