The problem with being wealthy and jealous of other people's wealth is that it works both ways. To someone on benefits the pay of a contractor is a fortune. even a benefits to a third world farmer or refugee are beyond the dreams of millions of people.

So unless you are prepared to draw a line that stands up to argument you stand to make yourself into a hypocrite.

Or you can save it so that in case of leaner times you do not have to rely on handouts, or you can ensure your kids get a bit of a headstart.

Charity begins at home and I could not give money away on the assumption that someone will give me money if the tulip hits the fan.

Abuse the elderly

what I happen to do is have worked hard and managed to accumulate enough money to be fairly well off....

but it would appear that the first 3 are acceptable to the leftie and it is just the last one which makes me an object of hatred
