So we should have a referendum on every major issue every few years? We'd never end up doing anything but voting - fox hunting, vaccinations, voting system, scottish independence, EU in/out, pound/euro, blah blah blahOriginally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -

We've never had a referendum on the monarchy, unless you're counting The Civil War.Originally posted by d000hg View PostSo we should have a referendum on every major issue every few years? Peasants like you shouldn't be eligible to vote on an important matter like that. Leave it those with at least some basic level of critical thinking.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostWe've never had a referendum on the monarchy, unless you're counting The Civil War.Comment

I'm a 'self loathing' coward because I profess to not be a fawning sycophant?Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostThey might like to fund a few more to drop on "self loathing" cowards like youI'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. I like the Queen and Phil the Greek I like Princess Anne , Charles is a Tw*t as are his two brothers and probably most of the hangers on. I like Harry and the Jury is out on William. The Queen is a fantastic ambassador for this country. Britain is the most civilised country in the world and just about the most popular to visit and for people to want to come and work here.Originally posted by GlenW View PostI'm a 'self loathing' coward because I profess to not be a fawning sycophant?
This may well change when the next monarch takes over but until then I am a big fan of this queen.
If that is being sycophant then I am happy to wear the badge with pride.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment
