What's wrong with sending in the UN - or at the very least getting legal backing?
    Two words - Russian veto.

Terrorist state on the side of terrorists, no surprises here.

That was to remove Assad in the interest of US 'national security'. What about is it was to take out ISIS?

An alliance of Western leaders, Muslim nations and Vladimir Putin is the only way to defeat Isis - Comment - Voices - The Independent

What about Russian veto on international court for MH17 shot airliner?

US national security is very nicely aligned with security of Western democratic states, who should have done a bit more to remove Assad long time ago - now they are taking on Syrian refugees among whom there will be scores of terrorists.

          2. It would be better for Iraq as a whole if Saddam were still around.

Sorry - but the country is barbaric. We should keep well clear.

What veto on MH17? I believe (and please correct me if I'm wrong) Poroshenko is holding the veto on that one.

US national security serves US corporate interests and the $USD staying as the world reserve currency. Why are they so interested in Iraq/Syria/Iran? Why not spread some national security to North Korea and other regimes that need to be 'liberated'?

Ah sorry, I forgot that you only watch RT.com

MH17 crash: Russia vetoes UN resolution for international tribunal - BBC News

Or perhaps that link would be more trust-worthy for you -

Russia uses veto to block MH17 tribunal - Al Jazeera English

Ukraine and Poroshenko were FOR UN tribinal, the only country against was Russia, which given their veto meant that decision can't go ahead (for now). I guess they did not tell you that on RT.com?

North Korea got nukes and very prosperous (thanks to USA) South Korea next to it within range of 10k+ artillery units from NK- they will be dealt with last.

btw I got no problems with USD staying the only reserve currency, which at the moment it isn't - EUR is the second reserve currency, which is nice.

So that pretty much answers question on why international law does not do squat - Russia blocks it, China usually abstains.

Russia supported - Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, Assad, Iran in general, Venezuela, Cuba - all utter scumbags who are best friends of Russian regimes for generations.

The sad part is that there are plenty of useful idiots (term used by Lenin) in the West who support USSR/Russia.

Didn't see them in Northern Ireland and according to the IRA, they were at war. I wonder why, US influence perhaps?
