Lets leave home ownership to the wealthy who can then fleece the poor people who will act as wage slaves and do manual labour for them.

        Nice.

          Renting in the UK sucks.

You can get kicked out very easily, no pets/children, quarterly house inspections etc.

          Renting needs sorting.

I know that's wrong, but it sounds kinda appealing.

So you're suggesting to kick out all tenants until they can afford to buy? Won't this create a glut of homeless people?

                Renting in the UK sucks.

You have to wait for 8 weeks unpaid rent before you can take any action. You can't kick them out with out a court order. Can't do quarterly house inspections as the tenant is inside and has a key in the lock. They cause more damage to the property than is held in the deposit, etc.

                Renting needs sorting.

                  Is it wrong?

I have a better idea. We could create large houses (stately homes?) where the rich can live. And poor people can live on site to cater to their every whim.

While we are at it, lets have the East End full of prostitutes so the rich can get their ends away cheaply every night.

CUK wants a return to the Victorian era....

Yep, millions arrive to work on construction, to build houses for the millions that are arriving next week, that can't afford to buy, so rent from landlords, that can only afford a small deposit, so borrow from the banks, that ran out of money, that borrow from the govt, that printed the money, to stimulate the economy, which consists mostly of building houses, to house the millions that are arriving....

And that there, is the UK economy.

Get a proper job. Save up. Buy yourself a house & stop whinging.
