            Overall return on premiums bonds as risk free tax paid cash is OK; iut's just the distribution that is the problem. Really need the max holding.

            I know a few people who do and get a couple of prizes a year. Don't know anybody who has one anything worthwhile though.

              It's getting more and more awesome by the year with Govt increasing taxes

              If rates were 5% (as they should have been for years now) then returns would be great.

              In June I had 4 prizes

              But in July only 1

                  Max holding of premium bonds is £50K.

                  That's enough for a deposit on a home or a BTL.
