              Even a Bradford and Bingley account on 2% per annum compounded is an exponential curve. i.e. if you reinvest the interest it doubles every x years.

              Showing an exponential graph doesn't mean anything. It just looks scary.

              At whatever point in history you show this curve it will look equally scary.

                      Execution only brokers must be loving this. All the commission on the way up as the retail crowd follow the bandwagon, and all the commission on the way down as they tulip themselves and lose their money on the way down. Rinse and repeat.
