    +1

Tories already increased taxes heavily on top 19%, leaving top 1% nice and well - Korbyn will fix it. Even better he'll make squeal like piggies his "Labour" chums, hopefully with Bliar doing a nice 20-30 year stint in jail somewhere in Hague, his extensive property and business interests confiscated to repay his victims.

      I won't disagree there.

Except that he wont. Because with his views and policies he wont get anywhere near the levers of power. Even if he wins the leadership election.

The country didn't vote in a Tory government because Ed Millibot was too right wing.

The guy is carrying on with a set of policies that kept Labour out of power from 1979 to 1997.

Then he fooking scares Tory Scum proper this time and maybe they won't be as close to Liebor as they are now.

He'll also deselect a fair few Labour MPs - direct public pressure would help achieve that.

          Win win either way.

No he doesn't. The Tories cannot believe their luck. There's a strong chance Labour will implode. And he cannot "Deselect" MP's ... he probably cannot even kick them out of the Labour party. He's joining a democratic organisation .... he does not automatically become an all-power dictator who can do exactly what he likes.

The progressive part of the Labour party ( i.e. most of the MP's, senior people and party hierarchy ) will fight him tooth and claw.

            Do you remember Michael Foot?

                Politicians and their "compassion".

They are tulip scared because they know that by 2020 the cuts will bite so hard that people would vote for anybody at the helm of Labour party other than those who supported those cuts.

Their only hope if Liebor rigs the election enough to stop Korbyn, which I hope they won't. Time for real shapeup of those MPs there.

I doubt it. They have been very selective and careful on whom to place the cuts (£12bn against a spend of £700bn?) and the tax hikes.
